Staff Meetings: The Coalition is now holding regular staff/organizing meetings every Monday, at 7 PM, at the office on the 4th floor of the Central United Methodist Church. At the weekly meetings, outreach activities for the week are organized. Everyone is welcome.

Leafletting: The Coalition will have a literature table across the street from Hart Plaza during the African World Festival this weekend. Join us in leafletting the large crowd that will be at the festival. We need your help!

Leafletting will take place on Friday, 6-8 PM, Saturday, 5-8 PM, and Sunday, 3-6 PM. If you have some time, please join us in publicizing the Sept. 17 demonstration in Lansing to demand the passage of Senate Bill 1306 and an immediate moratorium on all foreclosures and evictions.

General Outreach: Every day, volunteers depart from the Coalition office to organize. Others stay to make phone calls. If you are avalable from 11 AM to 3 PM, Monday thru Friday, stop by and help out

Bus reservations: Call the Moratorium NOW! Coalition office today to reserve your ride to Lansing on Sept. 17. We will also be organizing car pools from the Detroit area and from around the state. If you have a vehicle and can offer rides, please let us know.
