May 19, Tues, 4-6 pm, TROY DAVIS VIGIL in HART PLAZA - PROTEST DEATH PENALTY, join the global day of action to oppose the execution of Troy Davis and stand against capital punishment. Mr. Davis was convicted of killing a Georgia police officer without any physical evidence. Claiming procedural rules and time limits courts have denied appeals. And his stay expires on May 15 when another execution date will be sent.
